Kendrick Lamar Celebrates Juneteenth With Star-Studded Pop Out Concert
Kendrick Lamar held a special Juneteenth celebration concert, The Pop Out: Ken & Friends, at the Kia Forum on June 19th, 2024. The event marked his first major performance since his publicized feud with Drake.
The Compton-born rapper performed his Drake diss tracks, EUPHORIA, LIKE THAT and NOT LIKE US, live for the first time, to the excitement of the sold-out crowd. The set list also featured songs from his critically acclaimed album DAMN and other solo tracks.
Joining Kendrick Lamar on stage were fellow Black Hippy collective members Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q, adding to the evening’s energy. In a surprise appearance, Dr. Dre also joined Lamar for performances of STILL D.R.E. and California Love.
